It’s a family thing!
In recent years, Dustin Chapman has seen his career flourish as his determination and never-give-up attitude has brought amazing opportunities and recognitions. In recent years, Chapman has released his debut EP which peaked at #52 on the iTunes Top Country Albums Chart, won the prestigious “Entertainer of the Year” award at the 2021 Carolina Country Music Awards, was named Music Mafia Radio’s 2020 Male Artist of the Year, Who Hoo’s Independent Country Countdown’s 2020 Entertainer of the Year, and 2019 single “Plus One” won a World Songwriting Award, the International Singers-Songwriters Association Awards for Best Male Single of 2020, and the X-Pose-Ing Music Award for Best Modern Country Song of 2020. Along with that, his single “Slow Dance” reached new heights for his career, as it was added to radio stations all over the world, and the music video was added to several national networks, including a feature on CMT’s website. This song was also awarded a World Songwriting Awards for “Best Country Song of Summer 2020,” along with his song “Baby” ft. Angel Paez which was recognized as the best musical collaboration of 2020. More recently, Chapman was chosen to be a contestant on season four of American Idol and released his highly-anticipated single “Words & Alibis” which was shared on several national country music radio stations and music video networks.
Dustin also has many new projects in the works, including originals duets he will be recording with his niece, Ryleigh Madison. Ryleigh, who is 16 years old, performs live with Dustin at each of his shows. The powerhouse vocalist channels inspiration from artists like Patsy Cline, and draws each audience member in with her emotive vocals. Ryleigh released her debut single “Stranger” in November 2020, and has been recognized as one of the most promising young vocalists in country music. Moreover, Ryleigh is currently a featured contestant on the historic 20th season of American.
The Uncle/Niece duo will be releasing multiple projects throughout 2022, with their single “Family Thing” recently released in March. Be on the lookout for all the exciting projects from this duo planned throughout the year.
