DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to introduce new Nashville Artists to North Myrtle Beach SC – Sammy Kay and Katie Fee \nJoin us for a great evening of music and wine! \nSammy Kay is a folk-pop singer-songwriter currently pursuing her music career in Nashville\, Tennessee. Her music inspirations include Ingrid Michaelson\, Ruston Kelly\, and Taylor Swift. She is well-known in her home state of Indiana\, where she has performed at numerous venues since the age of 11. She recently graduated from Belmont University in Nashville\, where she studied songwriting and music business.\nSammy released her new EP titled ‘12th Avenue’ across all music streaming platforms this past March. It features her 3 latest singles\, as well as the unheard title track “12th Avenue”. She plays shows regularly in Nashville ; some venues include The Listening Room\, Big Machine Tavern\, and with Nashville Tour Stop. \n\nKatie Fee’s love of music stems from an early age in which she listened to 90s country artists such as Shania Twain\, Faith Hill\, and Deana Carter. Fusing influences of past and present\, country\, pop\, and rock\, the South Dakota native has worked to create her own niche in music.\nIn the Fall of 2017\, Katie left her hometown of Sioux Falls to attend Belmont University in Nashville\, TN\, where she learned about the business side of the music industry. Now that she has graduated\, Katie has thrown herself into Nashville’s songwriting community even further\, writing songs and playing in writer’s rounds around town.\nOn July 2nd\, 2021\, she released her debut EP\, Sunsets and Fireworks. The title track has been described by Three Chords Country as “What you would get if Eric Church’s Springsteen were written by a young Taylor Swift”\, perfectly summing up the songstress’s influences. \nCome on out and hear Sammy Kay and Katie Fee!
